These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of https://windowreplacementlosangelesca.com/ (the “Site”), the phone numbers shown on it and the forms on it. The Site is run by PaneRight LA (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Site, calling a number on it or sending a form, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

1. What This Site Is

PaneRight LA is an advertising and referral service. We publish information about windows in Los Angeles and connect people who call or send a form with independent local window contractors.

We are not a contractor. We don’t install, repair, sell or warrant windows, and we don’t perform or contract for any construction work. We don’t hold a contractor’s license, and nothing on the Site is an offer by us to do construction work.

2. Independent Contractors

The contractors you’re connected with are independent businesses. They aren’t our employees, agents or partners.

  1. Each contractor sets its own terms. Prices, estimates, schedules, contracts, permits, warranties and the quality of the work are between you and the contractor.
  2. We don’t guarantee any contractor. We don’t guarantee a contractor’s license status, insurance, availability, response time, price or work.
  3. Contractors may pay us. Contractors or lead buyers may pay us for calls or project requests. This doesn’t change what you pay the contractor.
  4. Check before you sign. Look up any contractor’s license and status at the Contractors State License Board (cslb.ca.gov), ask for proof of insurance, and get a written contract that meets California law before any work starts.

Any contract for window work is between you and the contractor only. We aren’t a party to it.

3. Information on the Site Is General

  1. For general information only. Articles, guides, cost ranges, code summaries and project pages are general information, not legal, tax, engineering, insurance or financial advice.
  2. Cost figures are estimates. They come from the named sources and change over time. Your actual price comes from a contractor’s written quote.
  3. Codes and rebates change. Building codes, permit rules, energy standards and utility rebates can change without notice. Confirm current rules with your city building department, utility or a licensed professional.
  4. Projects are completed by independent contractors. Project pages show example jobs for illustration. Results on your home may differ.

We work to keep the Site accurate and current, but we don’t promise that every page is complete, correct or up to date.

4. Calls, Texts and Emails

  1. Calls may be recorded. Calls to numbers on the Site may be recorded and monitored for quality, training and records. By staying on the call, you agree to the recording.
  2. Consent to be contacted. When you send a form and check the consent box, you agree that PaneRight LA and independent contractors may contact you by phone, text or email at the details you gave, including by automated means. Consent isn’t a condition of any purchase.
  3. Opting out. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing info@windowreplacementlosangelesca.com.
  4. Your own details only. Only enter your own name and contact details, or details you have permission to share.

5. How You May Use the Site

You agree not to:

  1. Send false, misleading or someone else’s information through a form.
  2. Use the Site or our phone numbers to harass, spam or mislead anyone.
  3. Copy, scrape or republish Site content without our written permission.
  4. Try to break into, overload or interfere with the Site or its security.
  5. Upload files that contain viruses or harmful code.
  6. Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The Site’s text, layout, graphics, logos and page design belong to PaneRight LA or are used with permission, and they’re protected by copyright and other laws. Project photos are used with the permission of the contractors who took them. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

When you upload photos or send messages, you let us and the contractors we connect you with use them to review and respond to your request.

7. Links to Other Websites

The Site links to outside websites, such as government agencies, manufacturers and cost sources. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information, including your California privacy rights and how to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT ANY CONTRACTOR, PRODUCT, PRICE OR WORK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, PANERIGHT LA ISN’T LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR FROM ANY CONTRACTOR’S WORK, PRODUCTS, PRICES, DELAYS OR CONDUCT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

Some laws don’t allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless PaneRight LA from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorney fees, that come from your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or information you submit that isn’t yours to share.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the Site or these Terms will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you agree to that location. Either side may bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date and post the new version on this page. If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Other Terms

  1. Severability. If any part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest stays in force.
  2. No waiver. If we don’t enforce a part of these Terms, that doesn’t waive our right to enforce it later.
  3. Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about the Site.
  4. Ending access. We may limit or end access to the Site for anyone who breaks these Terms.
